We were excited to learn and share that Luonto is also environmentally aware! (As we know, the furniture world isn't always the most earth-friendly). Luonto uses recycled plastic bottles in their cushions - how cool! Don't worry, when you sit the cushions are quiet as a mouse, you wouldn't even know you're sitting on recycled bottles!

Our Favorite Luonto Pieces: Sleeper Sofas
Now you know WHO they are, let's dive into WHAT they offer! Hint: it's sleeper sofas! Calling all apartment living friends, second + vacation homeowners! Have you ever had guests coming over and thought “Perfect let me rearrange my living room furniture, lug out that blow up mattress and wake all my neighbors at 2am with that loud whirring?” Well, then let the Nico and Elfin sleeper sofas save the day! Coming in a variety of sizes from a cot to a king, these sleeper sofas are both chic and fashionable, while providing the dual functionality of a “guest bedroom” for those out-of-town friends!

Often times with sleeper sofas—or futons alike, there is a concern about comfort, stability, and the difficult setup. Why not just sleep on the couch, and eliminate the hassle? With Luonto there is no hassle, and you will be happy that you took the minute (if that) to convert your sleeper. What makes this pull-out sofa so easy to convert? Glad you asked! The function is called nest, which allows a portion of the mattress to nest perfectly below the seat, while tucking the other portion effortlessly in the back of the frame. In splitting up the mattress this way, it does not compromise style or comfort while sitting or sleeping—how genius is that? In addition to the Elfin and Nico, Luonto also produces a Pint sleeper sectional and an Elevate bunk bed—a sleeper bunk bed, can you believe that?! We're also quite surprised to learn they offer a bunk bed! All of which come in earthy neutrals, which is fitting as Luonto translated to English from Finnish literally means Nature. The Pint sleeper sectional is anything, but Pint sized. Converting into a Full XL sleeper sofa, with storage space under the chaise, this sectional will provide maximum sitting room by day and all the sweetest dreams by night. Woah, let's take a second to process the Pint sleeper - this is function, on function! A sofa by day with a side of storage and a sleeper by night, still with a side of storage! This makes it super easy to store the bedding that pairs with your sleeper! Basically, in going with this sleeper sofa you are adding a bedroom, living room and closet to your space, in one purchase—at no additional rent or property tax!
Finishing off with a bang, we have the sleeper bunk bed, which we do not know about you but may be the coolest piece of furniture we have ever seen. Accurately named Elevate, this collection provides two cots once converted. We know what you are thinking, how the heck can a sleeper sofa turned bunk bed support an adult? It's full circle right back to the quality of Luonto!
Remember what we talked about in the beginning—quality. All Luonto cots are made with slow growing spruce which is a wood species that takes longer to grow but is stronger because of it. With this in mind, it should be no surprise that the top cot holds 220 lbs, making this a fun sleeping experience for both children and adults! Elevate would make the perfect addition to those second summer/ winter homes, where you don’t have room for those extra twin beds but can always expect additional company.
