A Note From The Design Team

This two-story modern farmhouse boasts a family friendly layout with on-trend finishes and selections. As the center of many homes, design inspiration came from the oversized 9′ navy blue kitchen island with quartz countertops and gold hardware.

Whenever the Old Brick Queensbury, NY Design Team tackles a design challenge, their goal is not only to make the space look great but also strive to add that extra layer of coziness. Kaitlynn Johnson, Interior Designer says “when you walk into any Old Brick home we want you to feel like you are at home, not in an intimidating showroom.”

We create this feeling by adding layers of texture, pattern, and natural elements throughout the home. From the nubby wool textural pillows in the family room to the burlap side of the deconstructed office accent chair you will find a blend of materials that create a cozy, cohesive feel throughout the 2021 Kodiak Showcase home.

The linen upholstered bed and reclaimed wood case pieces create the perfect blend of elegance and sophistication in the master bedroom layered with crisp linens and textural pillows for added softness. Our favorite spot in the home is the custom built-in floating shelves flanking the fireplace in the family room adorned with natural elements, layered artwork and the classic homey touches you have grown to recognize over the years as "the look" from the Queensbury, NY Design Team.
